I fell off my garage roof, hurting my leg. I was an ER/trauma RN at the tertiary hospital in Sacramento for 13 years so I knew I would be ok. No not at all.
Dr. Nuzzo repaired both of my tears to both shoulders. Very pleasant and explained everything in detail. Healed up great and now have no pain to both shoulders.
I had a torn rotator cuff on my right shoulder that was quite extensive. Dr. Nuzzo performed my surgery in December 2019 and as of March 2020, I have full range of motion, strength, and no pain; back to my regular routines. Ruptured Achilles. Dr Nuzzo rebuilt my knee three years ago, so I already knew and trusted his work. Always professional and to the point, he did a great job, answered any questions, and his staff was also top-notch.
My left massive rotator cuff tear repair was done March 16,2018. I have regained full range of motion and strength in that arm. My right shoulder was in bad shape. I had a retracted massive tear of my tendon it was beyond repair. There was a procedure for me called arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction with dermal allograft. Had a Knee Surgery. Dr. Nuzzo gets straight to business and is right to the point. He tells you like it is and what your treatment options are. His office is very busy and sees a lot of people. Sometimes contacting the office is difficult because of this and it also makes things difficult when other physicians and insurance groups are attempting to contact his office. All in all the experience was very good and he has me on the road to recovery.
I am downgrading my review from a 5 to a 3. On my first visit everything was so smooth and I really loved Dr. Nuzzo. However since then my insurance company has declined an MRI- now that is not against Dr Nizzo but what is is the fact that I have been trying to get the MRI approved and have been talking to the insurance company. Every time I have called to get an update from Dr. Nuzzo’s office no one is available to talk and so am promised a phone call back. Which I never get for over 3 wks
