Michael Risbano has been an unbelievable expert for my MIL with pulmonary hypertension and fibrosis. He is thorough, properly willing to try what’s needed and advocate for new treatments for her, and has been easy to communicate with when she’s in need. She has had Covid twice and immediately initiates protocols to keep her healthy with no long term effects. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Risbano.
If you meet Dr. Risbano you will be struck by his charm and maybe taken off guard. Don't be fooled. Dr. Risbano is the official head of UPMC's Long Covid Clinic, which really just consists of an overworked physician's assistant who is well intentioned, but impotent to do more than give references to "specialists" who neither know or care about long covid.
