A story worth sharing . Shout out to Dr. Michael R. West Jr. August 2018 makes 8 years since Dr. West literally had a huge impact on saving my life. I am a pancreatitis survivor. Not long after I got to ER. I started thrashing and my organs were beginning to shut down. I was told by another doctor that came in my room that I could die from this. I took my 20 year old daughter to er for debilitating pain. it was quickly determined to be her gallbladder. He scheduled her for later that day and removed it. She had some extreme pain still, so he recommended an ERCP. He didn't get upset or offended that we had questions and concerns. And we had a few. he sat down, explained it all, THANKED me for asking intelligent questions, then removed a large 2cm stone from her common bile duct. We can never thank or recommend him enough.
