Excellent outcome after total shoulder replacement. I could not be more satisfied. Five months after the shoulder replacement I was backpacking in the Grand Canyon. Two nights in the canyon 8.5 miles down and 8.5 miles back up. I am 74 and would recommend Dr. Walsh to anyone with shoulder issues.
Though I certainly would not chose to have rotator cuff surgery, Dr. Walsh was excellent to work with. I especially appreciated the manner in which he responded to questions in terms of real world applications. I always understood what was happening, why and my chances for a successful outcome given all the factors. I also found his team and the Tria Bloomington facility to be top notch. I did my research when chosing Dr. Walsh and it paid off.

1. He told me he would do surgery then he changed his mind. He referred me to get other options. Mentioned 3 times to go back to my previous surgeon, but he would be the last provider I would not want to see. He don't realize the reason I was in pain is because I had got a cortisone shot and that would take time and I do have a new tear that probably causing pain.
