I’ve been going to Dr Gimness since the first year he was in Plant City. I followed him from Winter Haven and have had EXCELLENT care both from Dr Gimness and Poliana Desarden APRN. I’m convinced that the care I get from them is top quality in the field of family medicine. His staff is friendly and very efficient. He has increased my quality of life many times over. I consider him to be an excellent doctor and look forward to many more years of excellent health care.

He takes his time and you don't feel rushed. He goes over everything and answers any questions you might have concerning your health or tests you may have had done. One of the best doctors I have ever been to.
Twice this doctor overcharged me and tried to get me to pay more than I should. One time he said I owed $740+. When I insisted that someone go over the bill, I only owed $25. Another time they overcharged me for something and when a credit got issued they didn't tell me. Had it not been for another instance of them charging me for a bogus charge, I never would have known; but they refused to credit me because they insisted I pay a no-show fee on a day when I was there but they refused to see me. He is one of the best doctors that I have been to. Really takes the time to talk and answer questions; never makes you feel like you are being rushed.
Due to a traffic obstruction on the interstate, we had arrived 13 minutes late for my mother's appointment. I was told that I missed my appointment, and would need to reschedule for another day. Both my mother and I had been patients of Dr. Gimness for years. In those years, this was the first time we had been late for a scheduled appointment. I'm not the biggest fan of doctors in general. They've never really helped me much, or looked into labs and medical records thoroughly. Just a quick glance. Dr. Gimness took his time going through my records and was meticulous about the details. He took his time piecing everything together. That same day, I got a diagnosis that explained pretty much everything. Dr. Gimness is phenomenal! He is attentive, and gives you the level of care you expect and require. He treats all of my family. He currently has 2 amazing nurse practitioners that work along his side. They are ever so caring and knowledgeable. His staff is the absolute best! Check in and check out is a breeze. The MA's are experienced. He has an in-house dispensary, which is awesome. The techs are bright and resourceful. Dr. Gimness and his entire staff show you nothing but compassion.
