Dr. Messieh cares about his patients. He takes time with each of his patients. He is thorough and very competent. Sometimes there is a wait for your scheduled appointment because he does take time with each patient. You are not rush in and out.
My experience with Dr. Messieh has been excellent. Knee replacement went smoothly and follow-up was timely
I have had both knees and hips replace by Dr Messieh, I would not use anyone else.
Had reverse shoulder surgery.
I went to Dr. Messieh in The Villages office because my hip had been bothering me for years but had been getting worse. Three friends had their hip replaced by him and loved him. After looking at my X-ray which showed bone on bone I had them put me in for surgery. I had the surgery a month ago and am so glad I had it. The recovery was fast and little pain. I can walk without a cane and can do just about anything around the house. I would highly recommend Dr. Messieh.

I am 70 years oId and had my two knees done at the same time 4 years ago this January, I am a tennis player, I am also a tennis teaching professional, play pickle ball and ride a racing bike every day for 5 mi at the lowest gear. Dr Messieh, told me that if I did me therapy .i'd be back on the court playing tennis in 12 weeks, I was actually playing competitive tennis in 11 weeks. I have had NO pain at all since my therapy was completed. Dr Messieh is fantastic,! Thanks Doc !
Before my hip replacement I had significant pain any time I walked any distance. From the moment I woke up after surgery I have had virtually no pain, I walk a mile a few times a week without pain or difficulty, and I take no drugs for pain, not even tylenol.
I found him and his staff to be warm and caring. He replaced my left hip in January of 2016 and my left hip in April. No problems with either hip. I was up walking the same day of surgery and went home the next day. I was playing golf in 6 weeks after each surgery. I highly recommend him.
