This dentist is willing to do very unusual things for patients - some might even call it cutting edge....but my experience was a lot of trauma and a lot of money for a lot of problems. The basic dentistry services - fillings etc... were a disaster! I had to have everything re-done and suffered a lot of pain and financial loss as well. While he has superb education and knowledge, when it comes to treat a single tooth with simple needed procedure , he is opt to recommend more expensive ones may cost you 3-4 times more. if you elect the less expensive one he does a substandard job ( he did a filling for me without properly clean the surface of the tooth so it came out in less than a year, when he reworked it second time it only lasted 3 month). Now I am looking for another dentist .
i have been a patient of dr. margolis for many years. he has helped me rid my body of dangerous mercury by replacing all of my fillings. after visiting a homeopathic physician, i found that i did indeed have significant mercury poisoning, just as dr margolis had suspected. i am totally pleased at his treatment and believe in his holistic philosophy.
Although this is one of the few practices in the Valley that is truly holistic - no root canals, never any silver amalgams - the attitude of the front desk receptionist cannot be tolerated. She is inflexible in scheduling (gives days and times without asking if they work), sarcastic, rude to children, and needs to find another line of work that doesn't involve dealing with the public. It's too bad to lose clients and taint their whole dental experience by keeping a person like this as the "face" of the office.
My kids just love Dr.Margolis and staff, and have asked me when are we going back.... when does that ever happen?
