In June 2020 Dr. Kralovec did my left hip replacement. Shortly after I started experiencing a lot of pain, went back to him because I was sure there was something wrong. He was adamant it was not my replacement hip. Over the next three and a half yrs I went to pain management, back specialist and physical therapy with zero relief. Went back to Kralovec and he referred me to another doctor at LBJI. One look at my X-ray and the second doctor confirmed that my replacement hip was angled wrong and the cause of my pain. Had both hips replaced by DrKravolec. Excellent experience. At 3 month visit I told the doctor I was ready to polka again. Would definitely refer to others.
Had a total knee by Dr. Kralovec in Feb 2020, just before the pandemic shut-down. From initial visit to all post surgical visits staff & doctor very accommodating. Doctor called & text checking up.
Dr. Kralovec displayed very questionable integrity on both of my visits. He gave me false information about several things that I researched. He said the Mako arm robot (for assisting surgery) is less accurate than other methods, even though he claimed to help develop it. He said he only does surgery at the Munster facility, but his medical secretary told me 3 others. He insisted insurance does not cover hospital or skilled nursing facility (after I told him I confirmed they will), but indeed they did. He was rushed on both ... read more
Dr. Kralovec is absolutely amazing. I had my right knee replaced and went home the same day. His pain management skills were amazing too. I’ll be getting my left hip done, probably in the spring and am looking forward to having Dr. Kralovec do the job.
I had been suffering with Knee pain for months, ( due to Osteoarthritis ). My Niece ( a Medical Professional ) , suggested I see Dr. Kralovec. That was the best decision I could have made !... Dr. Kralovec is an outstanding Surgeon !. He did an excellent job on my Total Knee Replacement. In fact, my whole experience, beginning with the Doctor, His Office staff, all the folks at Franciscan Bone & Joint , ( Munster ), and API therapy was excellent !
I had my left hip replaced 2 months ago by Dr. Kralovec. I was home the same day and back on my bicycle in 2 weeks. He is amazing! Very informative and his nurse practitioner is equally awesome! It almost makes me look forward to the time that I need my right hip replaced. ??
I had a blood infection that went to my artificial hip, that I had replaced nine years ago. Dr. Kralovec was very quick to act on this! He did x-rays, bloodwork up and the surgery all in the same day. He was able to do a partial hip replacement and clean out the infection. He took the time and was very patient to make sure I understood the urgency and what my options were. He did his residency at Mayo clinic and his fellowship at Harvard.
