Dr Kaempf saved my kidneys. The compassion he has for his patients is beyond excellent. I sure could use him now. So sad he retired.
Reading the many positive reviews, i feel like I was assigned the Evil Twin Doctor. Dr. Kaempf always seemed rushed, like a fire was burning elsewhere and he had to get there pronto. He resented questions, did not explain my condition, told me I needed to "see the smart guys"in nephrology. After a recent ureteral stent placement, one stent fell out three days after placement. Super. My urologist for over 15 years through kidney stones, prostrate cancer, etc. Very affable and willing to discuss his plan and treatment suggestions as well as listen carefully to me. I have recommended him to several friends and relatives and all of them were very pleased. He goes way above average in his concern for the patients and their feelings.
Dr. Kaempf takes time to talk with you, explain the problem, plan strategies, etc. He acts like he cares about you as an individual not just a problem.
Professional, very knowledgeable, so glad he is my doctor. Would recommend to anyone.
