I called to get some detail and the woman who i spoke with was very rude
Dr. Pickens was instrumental in saving our son’s life. We are grateful for his kind, compassionate, intellectual management of his health. We miss him in Tulsa and would love to know where he is now.

Dr. Pickens is the best and most caring doctor you will find. I am guessing that his mission in life is to help as many kids as he can. He is a great listener. He is so knowledgeable and has helped my son with so many things even beyond just GI. From people I know who work with him, they say he is constantly trying to learn more. I have met about 8 friends or acquaintances who use him as well and they all say the exact same things. I have never once felt rushed in an appointment. I highly recommend him!
Dr Pickens is an amazingly gifted Pediatric GI. We were blown away by how thorough and detail oriented he is. We were transitioning our care from OKC to closer to home when a severe and unexpected flare-up sent us to the ER before our scheduled appointment. Dr Pickens seamlessly handled our ER visit and CT Scan by keeping our OKC doctor in very close communication and impressed us when, almost a month later, we finally met for our appointment, we didn’t have to remind him about that visit - he already had the scans and visit... read more
