My daughter left her consult appointment in tears. He made her wait over an hour. He was rude and condescending; he mocked her for taking notes in her phone. He tried walking out of the exam room after talking down to her and snapped at her when she stopped him from leaving because she had questions. I can’t believe he is still in practice. Find another doctor.
Dr Hahn knew immediately what to do to relieve my hand pain. I find him personable and thorough. I have seen him several times and will continue as needed for hand treatment.
My diagnosis was pretty straightforward. Arthritis in the thumb joint. Dr. Hahn explained probabilities, possible solutions and surgery as a last resort. We went with an injection in the joint and within a day the situation has improved.
Dr Hahn was recommended by a trusted friend, so I went to see him about what I thought was an injury to my left hand and thumb. After a quick X-ray, he showed me my pain was triggered by having developed arthritis in that hand, possibly activated by an old injury. He recommended we try a steroid shot to see if that gave me relief and better hand function. Easy option, and it worked! First injection lasted almost 5 months, awesome! Dr. Hahn was honest and helpful.
I had 2 surgeries on my thumb the last one I was told that they couldn’t do anything else so I started looking for someone to help me because in my profession I needed it. I found him and he was a God send for sure. It’s been 8 or 9 years since he did it and I’m still going strong.
My daughter is a D1 athlete and she went in for a follow up needing clearance on what she can and can’t do at this point in recovery. He walked out on her as she was asking questions to get the information needed to SAFELY return to workouts and practices. He told her to ask his assistant , Rihannon, for a note for her college trainer, and she in turn was extremely rude and asked my daughter what the note should say. Saw him in July 2021. He has zero bedside manner. Did not even sit down to speak to me. Seemed rushed and annoyed i was there. Ignored everything I said to him and said I’d probably have to live with my injury and pain. I don’t even have pain unless being used but life is not easy without being able to use your entire hand.
