If a colonoscopy can earn 5 stars, this one does. I've had two colonoscopies with Dr. James, and both went smoothly, quickly, and with a total respect for me, the patient.
It was definitely a 5 star rating, if they had 10 stars, that's what i would give Dr. James & his staff.
I've been going to Dr James for several years...which means I drive eighty-plus miles, RT, when I need to see him. Well, not any more. I made a virtual appointment and LOVED the convenience!! Thumbs up for him and his staff!!

Dr James and all the staff at the hospital were wonderful . Still have some questions so will call office today, hopefully get some answers ??
The beginning part was smooth and the transition to the procedure was fine, but I woke up with a burning in my throat and this was with a colonoscopy. When I asked why, they only said they lightly suctioned my mouth and for me to get dressed, go home and gargle. I went home but had trouble breathing and chest pain. It turned out I had aspirated gastric contents up to the back of my throat and into my left lung. I was hospitalized for one night. Dr. James is *Top-Notch* in my book as well as his entire staff. A big thank you to all involved with my care and excellent communication. I'll be back! Lol See you in 5 yrs.
