I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Yanish several years ago. Most recently, I needed to see him again for unrelated problem. I thought for sure I was going to have to wait for further testing to be done. To my surprise, I had lab orders, an ultrasound order in my hand before leaving his office and an EGD scheduled for the next morning. His bedside manner was key. I am pleased
I just had my second colonoscopy with Dr. Yanish. I haven't seen him for any other condition. I like him and he's very soft spoken, but attentive. I hadn't seen him in ten years yet, before my colonoscopy, he took the time to review my history and said I was past due on another test I needed to have repeated which I had forgotten all about it. Very good attention to my health.
Dr. Yanish has been my Doctor since 2004. He diagnosed me with hep C. When I received the diagnosis I felt like life was over. He reassured me that a cure was coming soon and talked about the clinical trials that they were having and the success that they were having. Sort of keep the faith kind of doctor . As soon as harvoni came on the market I was informed by Dr yanish and I took it and I'm now cured. He dose my annual colonoscopy very clinical research minded. Which may be taken as aloof.
Dr. Yanish is so attentive, very nice and kind. I highly recommend him!! Everyone in the procedure room and at desk were wonderful.
Patient came in with swollen abdomen. Dr. Yanish said to the patient,“You have something else going on.” No suggestions were given. Approximately one month after the visit, the patient was brought in to the ER. The diagnosis was peritoneal cancer. The patient died four months later.
Excellent doctor, went above and beyond to assist and heal me. Very knowledgeable and great explaining in laymen terminology your condition and treatment. Excellent staff.
