I’m sharing this as someone who closely witnessed a loved one’s painful experience following a procedure performed by Dr. White. From the beginning, it felt like their care was rushed, and communication from his team was minimal and dismissive. What should have been a positive, confidence-restoring journey instead resulted in lasting physical and emotional pain. While I can only speak to what I observed, I strongly urge others to do thorough research and seek multiple opinions before choosing Dr. White.
Dr. White is obviously a renowned surgeon who does incredible work but be aware that this comes at the cost of him and his entire office being some of the poorest communicators I have ever had to work with in the context of medical care. Be prepared to ask ALL of your own questions or you will never be told important information such as risks, what to expect after surgery, etc. They do not try whatsoever to reach out; and their office at AGH doesn’t even have an on-call nurse line for after hours care.
