This doctor decides who is entitled to live & who is expendable. He's rated highly because he only takes on the easy cases. " he can't have negative numbers". His exact words. And his cowardly cohorts at Bayonet & Spring hill hospital won't stand up for what's right. Care less, humans protecting only themselves.
Dr. Wahl performed CABG × 4 in August 2018 and was amazing. I am alive and well a year later. He seems somewhat uncomfortable with interacting with patients, but his surgical skill is not questioned at all.
I feel very fortunate that Dr. Wahl was recommended to me for my upcoming aortic valve replacement and coronary artery bypass surgery. If I had a love one that required thoracic surgery, I would not hesitate to have Dr. Wahl and his staff to perform the procedure.
Dr. Wahl and his surgical staff operated on me at Oak Hill Hospital on March 27th, 2013. I had to have a 6 by-pass. My heart was a mess from disease. The operation was a total success. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. It has been over five years, I am 69 years old and I have more energy than most of my younger friends. I did a total renovation on my house this year and I am still going strong!! I would highly recommend Dr. Wahl. He saved my life! A wonderful doctor and person!
Dr Wahl is nothing less then Excellent. I would recommend Dr Wahl to anyone with a heart condition that cares to live.
If professionalism is what you are looking for in a office or surgeon, this is not the place for you. The women at the front greeted us with attitude and sent us on our way with attitude. The first impression of Dr. Wahl was that he is dirty. His white doctors coat was dirty on both sleeves and had dried drops of what appeared to be blood. We were in his office to discuss the possibilities of him performing open heart surgery on my husband. We would never trust this surgeon with surgery.
