Potential New Patients Beware...Have reached out to Dr. Swaney's Cornelius practice numerous times to book an initial appointment. Staff will not answer the phone during business hours and messages are not returned. After multiple attempts to contact, I received a snide text message noting the doctors stated that I had to communicate only via a patient portal and that having a staff member speak to me was time consuming and inaccurate. Dr. Swaney was a fantastic resource for me over the last two years. He always spends alot of time with me, answers all my questions, and seeks to understand my challenges and goals holistically. I had to navigate medication shortages, prior authorizations, and lots of life changes and Dr. Swaney was always responsive and available.
What a disappointment. Dr. Swaney is a sweet dude, but is clearly unfit to see patients in this sort of outpatient setting. He will have no recollection of who you are and he will be an hour late for your session. Thank me later.
