Terrible practice. Michael Rosen does not see patients. You will get a NP to manage meds and a therapist for talk sessions. Not that that couldn't work, but 3 times the therapist I was assigned was supposed to reach out to me to schedule an appointment and forgot. During a grieving crisis, I reached out to my assigned NP for help. She would suggest an appointment time, I would take it, and then I would get a note that the slot had already been taken. I saw Dr. Rosen for several years and found out last week that he was no longer seeing patients but had transitioned into a supervisor for nurse practitioners. I had no communication in the matter, no closing session, nothing. As someone who has a fear of abandonment from childhood trauma, this has been a devastating experience to me emotionally and mentally. I would not recommend going here because in the end, it has caused a lot harm that could have been avoided if I had chosen someone else.
Dr. Rosen is my son's doctor. I should have written a review long ago. He changed our lives in the best of ways with effects that will last a lifetime. Our son's first psychiatrist completely ignored some of our son's issues but Dr. Rosen began to address those neglected issues right away, and it seems they were the root of many things. Dr. Rosen has a kind and soft-spoken manner and always helped our son feel heard. He knows all of the "right" questions to ask to best be able to serve his patients.
