Dr. Orris & staff have always been helpful and courteous. They worked with me on billing through a job/insurance change to make sure there would be no surprises. They were great about helping me with dieting/exercise to lose the weight I needed to pre-surgery. Surgery went smoothly and recovery was easier than I expected it to be. I would strongly recommend Dr. Orris and staff for your weight loss journey!
I decided last August to have weight loss surgery and chose WLIA on the recommendation of a friend who had the Lap Band procedure with them the prior December. I have been pleased with the staff and my surgeon must have done a FANTASTIC job because I had a very easy recovery and absolutely no complications. The staff is great as well!
I met Dr. Orris at my consultation and he was so helpful. He explained exactly what would happen during the procedure and showed me where I can expect the port to be. I suggest everybody ask for Dr. Orris when looking into bariatric surgery!
I am a new patient with WLIAZ. I have had 3 separate appointments with them in preparation for the VSG and have to say they seem to treat me well. I had a little bit of a hard time getting ahold of them for some questions but once i got ahold of them they were very friendly. Dr. Orris answered all of my questions and the Endoscopy that was required pre-op went smoothly. The staff at WLIA are great and they help you whenever you need it. I am very happy with the initial results of the Gatric Sleeve surgery.
Dr. Barros at the Weight Loss Institute of AZ has been available to answer my questions and help me understand the details of the lap band procedure. The location in Glendale is convenient and the office staff always try to assist as needed.
Dr. Orris and his staff are very knowledgeable, supportive and positive. They’re always helpful in scheduling appointments around my work hours. I know I will be a success with all the support of the WLIA team!!
My son n I had the lap band procedure done by Dr Orris 1 month apart in 2011. We've had fantastic results. I went from a size 18 to a size 9, and he's lost 75lbs from size 40 waist to a 32!! The staff is very friendly and helpful with the insurance process, they answer all your questions . The procedure was easy n recovery was fast. My son was up n about in 3 days.
