Back bulging disc and sciatica problems.
Great.
Dr. Halperin was the third doctor I saw for my acute lumbar pain. He listened to me, took all of my past experiences and data (MRIs, x-rays, physical therapy, etc.) into account. He did not push surgery on me, but provided me with several options and predicted outcomes for my back surgery (I had four bulging discs in various stages of debilitation and constant, acute pain for several years at that point). Dr. Halperin has a great reputation. His spinal surgeries have good results with many and poor results in others. I met with him recently to discuss surgery I was told was urgently necessary. He interupted me thoughout and refused to discuss post-op pain mgmt. He is a brilliant technician and may be just right for you. Not for me. I kept looking and found a surgeon who understans the whole person.
very positive experience from start to finish. everyone in the practice that I saw was very professional; explained everything in detail but in a way I could understand. Post surgery I followed their instructions and recovery went extremely well
I write this review with great disappointment and dismay. Twenty years ago I fractured cervical vertebrae and was skillfully treated by Dr. Halperin. My accident brought me within millimeters of being paralyzed and I have been both grateful to and in awe of him for his care - until today. I went into see Dr. Halperin hoping he could save my life. I’ve been chasing doctors for 16 years trying to get answers to my debilitating and crippling pain at the base of my spine and sacrum . I am unable to walk due to my horrific pain. I had to take an ambulance to see Dr. Halperin. This doctor was a complete loser, and a jack a#s, and insensitive tool. Dr. Halperin is a great doctor, would recommend him to anyone having problems with their neck or back.
Dr halperin performed a laminectomy on my herniated discs l3, 4, and 5. I was in back and leg nerve pain for years. This surgery gave me my life back. Dr. Halperin and his team were wonderful!
