Dr. GrAtch is an amazing surgeon. I have been struggling for over 30 years with lumbar back problems due to arthritis in most of the joints in my body. I swore thst I would never have back surgery because I was afraid of complications. After strip in April I couldn’t take the pain any longer. My chiropractor recommended Dr. Gratch. Gratch performed an L4/L5 surgery on me a few years ago at Abington hosp. 3 weeks later the pain RETURNED. Made another appt w him after having a new MRI. Had the info sent to him 2 weeks before my follow-up. He came in and asked my symptoms (this is after his first surgery on me). He calmly sat down and told me verbatim “it’s just a matter of bad luck!”. I ask him if he looked at the new disc, NO. So I walked down the hall with him, literally and we looked at it together. No homework done! ??

My husband had L4/L5 spine surgery with Dr. Gratch. All we ever heard from him was that the procedure would take 1/2 hour and he would go home. Four days later he left the hospital with a knicked spinal sheath, a drop foot and severe neuropathy that he has dealt with ever since. Dr. Gratch similarly screwed up a Pediatrist that lives in our neighborhood. Avoid this Dr. at all costs

I would give Dr. Gratch a completely satisfied rating. My neck surgery went very smooth and it is healing perfectly - now several weeks later. He was very respectful of my time and every appointment was right on time. He was easy to communicate with and every step of the process was clearly explained. Dr Gratch was originally referred to me by a friend and I have already referred him to two close friends suffering from similar situations. I highly recommend Dr Gratch.

Dr. Gratch is amazing. I was unable to walk with the severity of my herniated disc and Dr. Gratch calmly explained what was needed to be done and put my mind at ease. I was sent by my Neurologist Dr. Sudhir Aggarwal to see Dr. Michael Gratch for my problem of severe and increasing pain in my lower back and legs. I was so impressed by his seeing me for a short time suggesting spinal surgery. I saw confidence in his words that I decided to go for it. He seems to be very upfront, straight forward, no "ifs and buts" and knowledgeable. I had the spinal -Lumber Laminectomy L4, L5 on 12th February 2018. I will see him on 28th Feb .for post-op visit. Thanks.

I had an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion.. I had a large bulging disc at C6-C7. I was in extreme pain constantly, had tried several injections and treatments from other doctors that did nothing. He was told me that he would fix me and he absolutely did. My pain is completely gone. I have the feeling back in my right hand, the numbness and tingling are gone. The pain in my neck is gone. I really feel like the surgery was a miracle because I was suffering so much. He is a great doctor.
