Went in for a cleaning and they kept trying to sell me on this expensive whitening treatment. Felt more like a car dealership than a dentist. How are the prices this high for basic care?
i have visited medical practices all over while traveling full-time but my experience at this office on Laguna Canyon Rd was completely unacceptable. I went in for a basic consultation because they claim to focus on a personalized, listening approach for families. Nice office, poor service. I was kept waiting twenty five minutes past my appointment time. The dentist was rushed and barely spoke to me. The cleaning was mediocre at best. My teeth did not feel clean when I left. They also tried to sell me a night guard I clearly did not need. Felt more like a sales pitch than a dental visit. Not coming back.
My family and I have been going to Canyon Dentistry for about ten years at least now. I can't imagine going anywhere else and I dread the day Dr. Chen retires . People think I'm crazy because I look forward to going to the dentist office, that's how amazing they all are. If you've had bad experiences with nightmare dentists (like I have), this office is the answer to your prayers.
