We were so blessed to be referred to Dr. Ackerman by Dr. Dearani also from the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Ackerman's knowledge and advocacy for athletes with heart disease is top notch. He also takes the time to make sure my child understands everything that he is say and allows him to participate in the decision making process. I can't say enough good things about him.
