I have seen 2 other orthopedic doctors but and was never very comfortable with either. Dr Harrer didn’t really tell me anything different or propose a different plan of action, but he is one of the most personable and caring doctors I’ve ever met! I have found MY orthopedic doctor!
I’m always glad to see Michael. He replaced my right hip several years ago. It was a marvelous surgery. Now I need my left knee replaced. I trust him implicitly.
Dr Harrer replaced my hip two years ago. The resent visit was a follow up. I routinely recommend Dr Harrer to my family and friends who have hip and knee pain. Dr Harrer is a personable and caring physician. He is extremely knowledgeable and readily explains procedures and expected outcomes at a level that the patient understands.

Dr. Harrar performed my total knee replacement six weeks ago. There were no complications and my knee is healing very well.
I recommend Dr. Harrer to everyone who has a hip or knee problem because he is an extremely intelligent, educated and precision surgeon. He is personable, explains all options and is gentle.

Dr Harrer immediately makes you feel comfortable and that you are in good hands. I instantly felt I had found a doctor that understood the pain I was feeling and how it was affecting my life. He took the time to understand what getting back to 100% would mean for me and set up a plan to get me there. He is direct and clear with information and it always feels like he is your partner in getting better. I highly recommend Dr Harrer and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
