Dr Sekela was a really nice doctor. He was one of the most caring doctors ever, he really cares about his patients. His nurse practitioner Lauren Ochoa was super nice and caring as well. Highly recommended to all people that wants a good heart doctor and great nurse practitioner.
He was a super nice guy. I was an unlucky one. I had a Barlows Mitral valva. They are hard to repair. I wish the decision had been made to put a fake one in. I was asked before surfery if they 7 couldnt fix mine what did I wan Bovine or fake. I said fake. Because of him going on and rplacing the valve. Im now in heart failure.
I reached out to him for a second opinion, and it truly saved my life. The other doctor wanted to wait 8 months, but after seeing him, I had open-heart surgery within 3 weeks. His professionalism made the experience feel more like a consultation than a hospital visit. I'm incredibly grateful for everything. Thank you!
The man is a genius! Hands that are maneuvered by God himself! I have seen and witnessed this myself !
