I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Stover, very good, no pain afterwards came tto hospital room at least once daily but more like twice daily most days, had left hip done by different doctor as had bursa removed and no one does that at Northwestern, after ten surgeries at Northwestern went to different hospital, left hip replaced severe pain since could not walk outo f hospital surgeon did not care tells me x rays look good but has no concern for the daily pain that I am in, Go with DR. Dr. Stover replaced my right hip in 2022 and did an excellent job. I had the added challenge of a torn glut minimus muscle 100% and a torn glut medius muscle about 50%. I was concerned that I would continue to have pain because of the muscle tears, but all is good! I appreciated that he was direct, answered my questions and reassured me. He changed my life and I recommend him highly. His team was great too. Thank you!
He rushed through the visit and repeatedly made remarks pertaining to me being a mother and having kids. It was not one time. He brought up me being a mother like I was unfortunate, miserable and too busy to do anything. Since I'm on the side of patient better off, he did not recommend physical therapy but said he could see how it plays out and look back. And specifically not that it matters bc I have kids and I'm much too busy to have time to go to physical therapy anyway. What was the purpose of saying that? I'm here over ... read more
He repaired my hip following a traumatic car accident 20 yrs ago as an orthopedic surgeon at Loyola. To this day I remember his name, his care and compassion Im 46 yrs old and I shall never forget! I was on here simply to look him up and I’m glad he’s still blessing people
I was very pleased with Dr. Stover and his resident, Dr. Mehta. From reception throughout the appointment, everything was handled very professionally. Doctors Stover and Mehta did complete examinations and thoroughly explained my diagnosis. The entire appointment was first class. Luckily, I do not need to have any surgery, however, if I did I would not hesitate to use Dr Stover. I highly recommend him.
He is experienced and expert at what he does. His team is very professional. Care is excellent.
Everything is coming along nicely. The care was excellent. The in home nurse, when she changed the bandages, said that the doctor did a really good job.
I was told that my surgery was successful. I am pleased with the results. Thank you very much for all your care and concern.
