Earlier this year I saw Dr. Michael Adams at Total Orthopedics Sports & Spine in Allen, TX, for a left ankle injury. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. From the start, Dr. Adams did not show much patience or empathy. He looked at the wrong x-ray twice (from a previous injury), never examined or touched my foot during either appointment, and dismissed the severity of my pain and bruising. I have a permanent limp and scar tissue on the bottom of my foot. I complained that my big toe hurt. My balance is not very good. I would never recommend this doctor.
Dr. Adams failed to measure correctly, and after a year of pain and instability, I had to have knee replacement RE-DONE by a different doctor. DO NOT let this man cut on you. This has been a NIGHTMARE.
I would highly recommend Dr Adams, I've had both knees replaced and have some minor surgery tomorrow by Dr Adams. Both knee replacements went extremely well and I was bike riding 5 miles at 5 weeks. I also love his PA Kendra Knowles.
First visit, very satisfied, answered all my questions and explained procedures to be done. Highly recommend
I utilized Dr. Adams on two occasions for surgeries. I found him to be very contemptuous of me as a patient and as a person.
I had knee replacement surgery in Dec. 2018. Surgery went extremely well. Dr. Adams explanation of the procedure and expectations was very accurate.
He's done three surgeries (One ulna nerve release and two arthritic thumbs) for me and I.m scheduled next month for him to remove a Morton's neuroma. I wouldn't see anyone else if it was free care or if I was paid. Dr Adams CARES about his patients. And his staff is wonderful, too.
I've had several visits. Dating back to 2000. He has always taken care of my issues and surgeries.
