I had a complete quad tendon rupture in April of 2023. Dr. Carlson performed the repair surgery May 4, 2023. He accurately framed the times when x or y would occur during my recovery. I can walk again, almost normally, but that's still improving as well. Fantastic job, I highly recommend Dr. Carlson.
If you're ever in need of rotator cuff surgery, I can't recommend Dr. Michael Carlson enough. He repaired damage left behind from my 1997 surgery and fixed me up real nice from my recent injury. Although this particular recovery is super long and sometimes frustrating, I'm super happy with my current shoulder rotation and range. Dr. Carlson is the cream of the crop! 👌

I have known Dr. Carlson for many years. He has treated nearly every member of my family at one time or another. He helped me find relief from long-term joint issues. He has also been there for us during times of crisis after serious accidents. He even came in to consult after one of my kids was run over by a car. I'm writing this review 4 years after having surgery for a torn labrum from Dr. Carlson. I was on the fence for surgery as my shoulder only had pain while lifting weights, but decided to do it. Dr. Carlson had previously done work for about 10 of my coworkers with positive results so he was an easy choice. He did a fantastic job... I have no pain at all in my shoulder and it's actually a little stronger than the other one now. Really glad I did the surgery and will use Dr. Carlson for anything ortho related in the future.
