Great Place, Great Service! – I recently shopped on line looking for an engagement ring. I finally found a beautiful one on the Michael C. Fina site. I called the store and was directed to a diamond specialist named Bruce. He is an amazing man! A few days later I was in the store looking at the setting I liked and he showed my girlfriend and I a few diamonds that were in my price range. We ended up getting the ring and it is perfect! I Love this Place!!! – I had such a great experience at this location. My fiance actually proposed right outside the store!!! Lets start from the beginning. Without my knowledge Justin(My Fiance) went to NYC to pick out my ring. He spoke with Bruce who helped him all the way through until the end. Justin has nothing but great things to say about him. Do NOT register here! – After a bad experience with Tiffany & Co. -along with a limited selection of china- we decided to go with Michael C. Fina, for our wedding registry. At first everything was great. They had a wonderful selection to choose from, easy website to navigate, etc. However, when I received an email, from some bridal registry 'consultant' named Klea Kostopoulos, the experience started to sour. Please learn from my mistake. Not recommended. – I bought my engagement ring here and was very disappointed in the service. They were the only dealer for A Jaffe (the manufacturer) or I wouldn't have bought here. Firstly, they started giving me bad service when it was clear I was only buying the mounting (not the center stone) from them. I get it, stores want to sell the center diamond, but that's no excuse for the sales rep (a woman named Libby) not returning emails. AMAZING EXPERIENCE thanks to Bruce and the MC Fina family!!! – I couldn't be more pleased with my entire engagement ring purchasing experience at Michael C. Fina. An engagement ring should be by far the most special purchase in a guys life, and delivering this as a surprise means sorting through hundreds of rings in dozens of jewelry shops across NYC with very little direction from your soon-to-be wife. Worst Registry Experience EVER – Please do NOT waste your time registering here. They do not know what they are doing when it comes to registries. Customer service has proved unhelpful on several occasions. They caused me much unneeded stress before and after my wedding. I only registered here because it was the only place that sold my formal china as separate pieces while also offering registries. Horrible Customer Service – I was a bride registered here & received thousands of dollars worth of items - well over $10K worth! My wine glasses were pretty costly & I didn't receive any before the wedding so I made a quick registry adjustment & added in some less expensive Waterford glasses & sure enough - received several for our wedding. buying experience vs follow up – my fiance and i saw an advertisement in the newspaper so we decided to give this store a try. we were treated very well from the moment we walked in. the ring was custom made to our tastes and came out great. The issue is the follow up.
