I’ve been to several podiatry offices over the years and couldn’t find anyone to treat me. I wish I found Dr Allen back then. I had pain for years that he treated with a 15 min surgical procedure. He’s absolutely the BEST!!!
On my first of 3 visits with him, he showed great concern after viewing my x-rays and scheduled an MRI. By my third visit he finally suggested a boot (should have been done on 1st visit) and when I asked questions about my situation his response was, 'Well, we'll do whatever you want to do' - leaving ME greatly concerned with my decision in choosing him. This response caught me totally off guard and pushed me to find another Dr for a second opinion.
Has treated my elderly family members with respect and expertise! We love Dr Allen!
I went to Dr. Allen in October 2017 thinking I had broken it. He told me it was something else for 3 months before he did an MRI and found it was fractured. Examined my foot one time (first visit) and never looked at it again. Wore a boot for months then a brace. Released me when my foot was 90-95% better. I told him I was still having pain. My foot is still fractured. Now I'm going somewhere else for a 2nd opinion. Make sure you pay and keep all receipts from your visits. They overcharge!
I couldn't have had a better experience! Dr. Allen was very thorough in his examination and the two surgeries I had were wonderful. He operated on each foot and the results have made a huge difference in my comfort in walking. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
The only reason I went to see Dr. Allen is that I had a wart on my toe. He had my feet x-rayed and fitted for orthotics? Then after his whole talk with me about my feet, I finally was able to get him to explain the real reason I was there, the wart on my toe. He acted like it was no big deal. He treated me 5 different times. The wart would not go away. I felt like he just wanted the return customer more than really helping me. I went to a dermatologist. He froze it off in one visit. Gone.
