It never fails that the wait time is terrible. Often while he is sitting at his computer right outside the room. I understand that he has paperwork to do between patients, But it shouldn't be that long. Then when he does come in the room, he stands well on the opposite side, be it sick or well visit, looks at your child for maybe 30 seconds, and this last year has added a 'speech' about how COVID is not a pediatric disease and your children are perfectly safe to go out and interact with other kids. I didn't mind this part as... read more
Super smart and really cares about the kids!
Never fails, I set a sick baby appointment and arrive 10-15 minutes prior to my appointment. They call us to the back and we wait 30-45 minutes in a too warm small room with an unwell baby getting increasingly upset. When Dr. Barker finally does come in he spends about 30 seconds asking what is wrong, maybe another minute looking him over while avoiding proximity to my child as much as possible ( I get it I do) and rushes out. The whole time acting like we were an inconvenience to him.
Awful he only goes in for 5 minutes and don't even check on the child poor nurses does everything while he do nothing
Dr. Mills is wonderful, truly. She never rushes through an appointment and she is so thorough. I feel like she really listens to me and she will always answer all of my questions. She is very kind and gentle and she really makes us feel that she cares. I've had a few awkward/uncomfortable visits with her regarding my teen-age daughter and she was so non-judgemental and so caring...I really appreciated that. She's one of those really great doctors and I would absolutely recommend her.
We started seeing Dr. Mills when my daughter was about one year. The previous Doctor we had retired and we just ended up with Dr. Mills; I couldn't be happier. Dr. Mills always makes me feel our child is her priority while she's with us and eases my crazy worried mama mind. I have two daughters and no matter which one is in for a visit she always asks how the other one is doing (even when the other is absent). I adore Dr. Mills and would recommend her to anyone.
When you pass by her at her desk you see her on web md instead of actually taking the time out to diagnose your child. What was the sense of all them years in med school? Horrible bedside manner. Once you have a question or concern she replies sarcastically. You wait longer than the doctor actually sees you she's just quick to say it's anything just to get rid of you. Will defiantly be looking for a new doctor immediately for my son. This woman is a joke! "Doctor" I think not! Her staff is RUDE2
Dr. Mills has seen our daughter since she was a newborn (she is now 18 months). I have no complaints. She is extremely helpful courteous and has a good rapport with our precious girl. The facility is very clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly.
Dr.mills has been seeing my child 2 years now. In the recent months i have notice a change in her...Horrible bedside manner. No sense of humor with the children. She is not very friendly. I will be looking for another pediatrician. The office staff is very friendly as well. Just overall bad experiences.
