I have been looking for a doctor all my life that would listen to me about my symptoms and actually engage with information that would help me and my situation; THIS IS THAT DOCTOR. He is informative, easy to talk to and listens. I am so thankful that I did not give up on modern medicine now that I have encountered someone that will provide the care and direction I have been seeking for a very long time.
I am a middle aged male with a fairly rare auto-immune disease that has caused extreme arthritis in major joints. I am a new patient of Dr. Barbara, and upon my initial visit, he had not heard of my disease. My second visit, 6 weeks later, surprised me. Dr. Barbara had done research into my particular disease and ordered food allergy tests, something that had not been done yet (my diagnosis was arrived at in 2015).
