Dr. Mefford is an excellent, professional, patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable psychiatrist! (Specializing in ADHD/ADD). I have been a patient of his for almost a year and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! That’s the truth! (Girl Scout Honor) Dr. Mefford listens to you and hears your concerns and actually cares! You’re not going to be just a patient number at this practice! Hands down the “Best in the Low Country!”
Dr. Mefford is a great psychiatrist and helped me create and maintain order/balance in my life when I needed it the most. I have had anxiety, depression, and ADHD all my life but growing up it presented itself in ways that weren't easily identified and it was somewhat "taboo" to seek medical help. I feel so fortunate to have been working with Dr. Mefford. He is easy to talk to and pays attention to little details. You can tell he genuinely cares. He is never judgmental and also takes the time to explain certain things in depth. He is thorough, and ensures his patients are taken care of. He has always been very responsive outside of appointments if needed as well. Definitely recommend!
