EDITED TO ADD: Both Dr. Jofe (surgeon-in-chief) as well as Dr. Aversano personally called to apologize after reading my review. The calls were sincere and I truly believe that they will avoid this from happening again to other patients. In order to get my 3 year old's cast off, we had to drive to see Dr. Michael Aversano at the Miramar location, which is 25 miles from my house. It was closer than the Coral Springs office where she got her cast on (with Dr. Cohen-- we loved him). Before we left, I charted the distance with my GPS, which said it would take 35 minutes to get to Miramar. We left early.
