If we could give him 100 5 stars we would. The poise, professionalism, demeanor/bedside manner, knowledge, surgery skill, I could go in all day. I say objectively he’s an extraordinary man, surgeon, and friend. I have only 2 regrets: 1. That we didnt find him sooner 2. That I dont know his parents, because if I did I would come tell them how proud they should be of raising such a superhuman
Dr Assayag messed up my surgery and when brought up he refuses to address this and dismisses all concerns. I do not trust him.
A right knee replacement I had in 2018 failed in July 2023. A partial replacement was done in September 2023 and that too failed. In May 2024 a full replacement of my right knee was done, but I was never able to stop using a cane. Dr. Assayag performed a tibial osteotomy November of 2024 to straighten my right tibia. Dr. Assayag is an extraordinary surgeon and a caring person. My experience is best described by the phrase: “The great ones make it look easy” as my procedure went exactly as described and was very successful. Before the surgery, I was suffering from a lot of knee, hip, back, and neck pain due to a short leg (3cm) and other bone deformity issues (bow and internal tibia rotation) in one of my legs.
