The GOOD: Trauma and Plastics Doctors were friendly, informative, and highly professional. Great bedside manner. The BAD: the registration nurse/associate took my driver’s license, my insurance card, and my FOID card (which has my current address which is why I have that to her as well)…….. these VERY IMPORTANT IDENTIFICATIONS WERE NEVER RETURNED TO ME. The only person who expressed any concern about this was a kind young gentleman (working security I think around 0000 hrs. or 0100 hrs).
Brought in to the ER trauma department after a motorcycle accident. The initial care was good but it quickly declined. After 13 hours I was sent home told that three prescriptions would be sent to my pharmacy. The next day we found none were sent. After over 24 hours,12 phone calls later and 2 wrong prescriptions. Only 2 days of pain meds were sent as well as two prescriptions for the same Muscle relaxers. Don't need a trauma department near Loyola. Sad but true.
