Had total knee replacement surgery in June and couldn’t have asked for a better medical team.
I would recommend Dr. Wind and his highly trained staff to anyone. His knowledge and expertise sets him apart from those in his field. The time that is taken with you is never rushed. All your questions are answered, and you leave feeling confident you're in the right hands.
Dr. Wind was able to explain the procedure and answer all of my questions so that I was able to understand what to expect.
My visits at OrthoVirginia have gone well. All of my questions were answered and the information they provide before surgery is very helpful. Although the process after surgery and returning to normal took some time the PT staff at ORTHOVA on Hull Street were the best and helped me 'get back on my feet'. I'm so glad that I had my knee replacement surgery because I am once again walking without pain and I would not hesitate to have the surgery on my other knee if it is needed. Dr. Wind is a very competent and talented doctor/surgery. His patience with his patients is remarkable! He listens carefully and responds fully to concerns. I feel well cared for in his presence and that of his PA’s. I have had one total knee and though still healing I am confident in the long term such that I am scheduled for the second surgery in months to come.
We had to wait for a little while but he is so worth it. He takes time to explain findings and gives options.
He is a good doctor. Visits are always professional. He has performed surgery on me before with excellent outcome. I will be getting another procedure for a different part of my body that is problematic.
My visit was very pleasant. Dr. Wind is very thorough and has an excellent bed side manner. I like the way he explains every detail. My hip replacement was a breeze thanks to Dr. Wind.
