My pratice provides a level of attention which is rarely found in today's healthcare system. You will not find layers of assistants between my patients and myself. Office visits are as long and frequent as they need to be. Communication with me is in person and by telephone depending on patient preferences. Don't be surprised to get a call from me personally about your testing results.

Dr. Eimer is a gem and I am fortunate to be one of his patients. He's very bright, personable and knowledgeable. We spent more than adequate time discussing a variety of issues and defining next steps and dietary and physical conditioning practices to utilize. He is very proactive and offered several suggestions that revolve simply about good health. I trust him implicitly!
After just one visit of only an ECG and one speed, level, 7 min. stress test, he recommended a pacemaker but no symptoms that required one. Immediately after the pacemaker was implanted, I wasn't able to breath well. He hospitalized me, prescribed statin and said I may need a stent. Ordered an angiogram that showed my arteries were clear and the tech said I will never have a heart attack or stroke.
He really is an amazing cardiologist in 2019 he saved my life when I needed a doctor to listen to me and I ended up needing two stents. And just recently I faced another issue while at work that landed me in the hospital, and Doctor Eimer is 100% on top of his game taking care of me once again with exactly what is needed to get me back on track. He is patient and listens to us and acts to ensure that his patients are receiving excellent treatment and are taken care of and given the top-notch care that they need.
Absolute worst doctor, staff and experience. Appointment rushed to get to next patient and doctor was preoccupied with other matters. EVERY TIME you call for an appointment or for status on your records or follow up care, YOU WAIT OVER AN HOUR for someone to pick up, (they NEVER identify themselves when they answer) they put on hold again for another hour + only to have them disconnect you. This has been a continuing pattern. I have changed to another cardiologist at another practice.
Made an appointment for my son 6 months in advance for Dec ( his winter break). Just received call from the doctors office today stating that appointment has to be cancelled and they can only reschedule in late January ( when he is back in college). Cancelling an appointment because the doctor decided to take a last minute vacation and not offering another option shows clear disregard for the patient. The person who called acted like this was nothing unusual. Think twice before going to this office.
Dr. Eimer is a brilliant, kind, and effective doctor. My appointment with Dr. Eimer at Northwestern's Glenview location was my first time seeing a cardiologist. I was terrified about some scary symptoms I had been feeling. Dr. Eimer counseled me and put everything in perspective. He took the time to get to know me and I felt that he saw me as a person, not just a patient. He ordered tests that were performed the same day, and now I have greater peace of mind and a plan to improve my health. He called to discuss my test resul... read more
12 years ago Dr Eimer was my doctor, I suffered a Massive heart attack and my condition was touch and go, 12 years later I am around to write this review... He's the best!!
Never felt rushed. Answered all question. Always available. What else do you need? Very happy with Dr. Eimer
Listens well, explains test results clearly, spells out options, and welcomes questions. Although I had to wait about 3 months for this non-emergency visit, I have no complaints--only praise for this amazing physician.
