Dr Burch is an excellent physician and very knowledgeable on a variety of hematological disorders, even the more rare types. It is apparent he really cares about his patients. He takes time and explain things in ways we can understand. I never feel like my visit with him is rushed or that I don't get all my questions answered. Highly recommend him.

My brother-in-law was seen by Dr. Burch at Baylor in Dallas last week. We were told by Dr. Burch to schedule a follow up appointment. Dr. Burch's office refused to schedule the appointment until we obtained Medicare Part B insurance. They refused to see him as a cash pay patient, despite knowing the insurance when he was hospitalized at Baylor. He has Medicare Part A. I was disappointed to realize the focus was on a patient's insurance reimbursement long term vs current state finance
