You get what you pay for. This place is a good deal, but dont expect good service. The pool was never open, the gym rarely is in functioning order, and there is little or no maintenance of the common areas. This place is very poorly management. The units are horrible with energy efficiency (I am dreading my heating bill this month) It is close to campus and the bus stop, which is nice. If you can spare being a little farther away or spending a little more money, I would recommend doing it.

My wife and I moved in August 2009 for school and it has proven to be a terrible place to live. The management is by far the most incompetent group of people I have ever met. There has not been a single instance when weve asked for something and it has been done right without following up and hounding them. We got an eviction notice stating that we have not payed our rent for December and that we have 3 days to leave the premises. All of this because they did not keep a record of our check, which we had to spend time copying... read more

There are only two things I like about living here and its the proximity to the bus stop and campus as well as the prices. Everything else is just ok and the service can be quite awful. Personally when I got into the apartment I didnt care how bad it would be because I was only paying \$1250 a semester but when the shower head sprouted water onto the ceiling thus causing the sheet rock to bend and become out of place, theres was a problem. I along with my roommate have gone frequently to the managers to get work done and not... read more

Almost any other place is Oxford is a better value. CMC bought the property in 2008 and since then rent has gone up 19% while service has plummeted. They told me for over a year they were making improvments and that was why rent was going up. In that 1 year+ the only improvements made were to their offices and the landscape to simply cover up the real issues. \$400 wasnt bad for location but \$475+ is not ok for windows that dont open and close, awful carpets, very slow maintenance with very poor skills, and staff that acts ... read more

The townhouses are awful. You will overpay for your heating and cooling just to freeze to death in the winter and sweat to death in the summer. And the plumbing is terrible. Weve had "maintenance" work on the toilets numerous times, and they still dont work right. Now they want to jack up the prices to \$1300 a month for granite kitchen tops. Seriously dont waste your money. We are moving out as soon as we can. Ive never been so miserable anywhere else Ive lived, and Ive rented several apartments over the years.
