Worst hospital ever dealt with. Upper Valley in Troy transferred my mother there for a procedure they couldn't do and when she got there Dr said he had no idea what I was talking about. They just let her lay in a bed for 4 days then sent her to nursing home for rehab. Rooms are dark and filthy nurses act as if they are being bothered when you call them i wouldnt send a dog there. Month later she passed away.
Great hospital in a blue collar/working class neighborhood.
DON’T TRUST COMPLAINT FILED against Miami Valley Hospital for drugging a patient without their knowledge and consent, falsifying medical records, endangering a patient!!! I communicated with patient relations after this happened in before filing the complaint with the Ohio medical board! No resolution was offered!!!
I lost a baby at 17 weeks, and I had to be induced at the labor and delivery Department here. I was really scared, but all my nurses were AMAZING. I wish I got their names but I wasn't thinking straight. I couldn't be more thankful. It was the hardest week of my life and they made it manageable. They checked on me, showed genuine concern for me and my comfort, and ensured I left prepared for the hard times ahead.
ADVOCATE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES!!!! I am going to start this out by saying I have the utmost respect for nurses. However, this is absolutely the worst hospital. My mother was admitted 6 weeks ago and had the worst care I have ever seen. The nursing staff was absolutely unwilling to do any part in treating her until I had to actually get rude with them.
