Had reservations for a non-smoking, 2 double beds room, preferred oceanfront. We got there said no double bed rooms left, will have to take a king room with a cot. We said that was not going to work, need 2 double beds. They said then that 1 double bed room was available, except it was a smoking room. Rude front desk, checking in takes long time, Smelly small room. There is nothing great about this hotel except the lobby. Stay away.
The Casino was clean and had an interesting variety of games.The location is excellant and the main reason we chose to stay here when offered comps through Harrahs after our stay at Showboat.I have to say we really felt like second class citizens when trying to check in.We went with a couple of friends that had to pay for their room and the treatment and room they recieved compared to ours was night and day!We had to check back 3 times for a room to become available!They were given keys right away.They recieved a room in The... read more
i go to harrahs properties often and this has been my worst experience. I talked to front desk manager and he was on no help whatsoever. yes, there are many nice people that work there but the bad out weighs the good by such a large margin that i absolutly refuse to ever stay there again.the most uncomfortable bed ever, two refrigrators in the room because one was broken. I plugged a lamp in and sparks came shooting out of the socket.i never called about the tv not working properly but a tech wanted to come fix it on my stay... read more
I am an avid gambler and visit A.C. regularly. However, I will never choose Caesars again. My sister and I planned to gamble and dine there for her birthday, but we were out the door within the 1st half hour. There was an error with the 2nd machine that I sat down at. I inserted my voucher and it spit it right back out, leaving me with 20 cents from my \$20. I didnt even pull the handle or push a button once. I seeked helped immediately. had a wonderful stay! Forgot to pack some of our clothes when we left...called the hotel and they fedex them within a 2 weeks. Excellent customer service...Victoria at Lost and Found was very helpful. Will definitely be back!!
I stayed at the caesars thinking "wow, its so beautiful looking, it must have amazing rooms" but to my surprise, the "deluxe" upgrade I got looked a lot like a standard room you would get at a motel. The service was okay however that first night, we waited in a line at a restaurant for 45 minutes and the food wasnt even that good. I immediately checked out and checked into a much nicer hotel that completely blew the caesars away. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and time.
