So many friends rave about this place so we decided to give it a try last night. Service was good, food was fast but mediocre. We probably won't make the trip next time. We have a good Mexican place right here in Rensselaer and the food is much better.
RecommendedI remember this restaurant from my childhood and I bet it keeps being great , although I am not around there anymore, I remember their salsas and chimichangas were great!! Thank you for being part of my childhood memories. I expect returning with my family to taste once more your nachos and red salsa!! Saludos!
Margaritas were good, but clearly Noone on this blog has eaten Mexican food in tx. Enchiladas aren't dry and over powered with meat. It defeats the whole enchilada concept and the taste of the tortillas. Great sauce for the chips tho. My advice would be alot less meat and a Mexican chili sauce or queso spread over them. Fetta cheese should only be used for tacos. Just a tip from a real Texan native who knows his authentic.
The food was amazing. I highly recommend if you enjoy eating great Mexican food.
Always great food & service...only complaint is they are so popular that on some nights it takes a little while to get seated...and they are a good size establishment!��
