I used to go to Mi Casa a lot. I haven't been there in a few years. My son and I stopped in for lunch and it looks so different inside! Such a bright and inviting place. The food is still really good and priced pretty fair.
Trying people's tomatillo sauce has become a hobby of mine. I search for restaurants new to me, for the sole purpose of trying their sauce. This one's sauce wasn't one I would rush back for. It was hot... if that is what makes a tomatillo sauce good to you, it may be a new favorite. The steak tacos were great. Among the best I have had anywhere. The street corn was the same, among the best. The staff was great. Loved the decor.
Service was great. Atmosphere is nice and dining room very clean. They started me off with a basket of chips and salsa. I had the Mi Casa Lunch special of two fried tacos with rice and beans. Very good! I will definitely be back. 👍
