Just outstanding. Service is so friendly, kind, and responsive. Food is exceptional. The space is warm, welcoming, and pleasant. I just wish they had fountain sodas!
My friend and I had dinner plans on E Johnson but didn't realize that most places in the area closed at 8pm and wouldn't seat us at 7:45. We were SO hungry, and the kind staff at Mi Barrio took us in and fed us an amazing chicken burrito (which we split), even though they were closing up. We tried to make it easy and quick that time, but have been back 4 times since with more elaborate meals, sometimes with groups or kids. It's a go-to spot in the neighborhood for sure.
