Dr. Semrin is an amazing physician. Knowledgeable, caring, very thorough, and an expert in his field. He takes time to listen to you, and ensure that you are comfortable with the plan. I can tell he truly cares about our son. I really trust Dr. Semrin to do what is best for our son and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone in search of a pediatric gastroenterologist.
Dr. Semrin is an excellent pediatric GI doctor. He is an expert in child feeding problems and severe ulcerative colitis. He looks at your child’s entire case carefully and will always give you his honest diagnosis and plan of care so you can discuss the best way to approach your case. The best doctor we ever had.
Such a great doctor! He take the time to really listen, and is interested about figuring out the issue. GI issues can be complicated, and Dr. Semrin has not put a know-it-all air, even though he has great intuition and knowledge. So far, I can tell he really wants to help my 3 year old, as well as me, to process the issues she's having.
We drive from Aledo TX to Plano to follow-up with Dr. Semrin. We had taken our son to other medical facilities and GI specialists without receiving any answers for the source of my 10 yr old son's GI problems. We FINALLY found Dr. Semrin, who without further and more invasive procedures, was able to diagnose and treat my son for abdominal migraines. His bedside manner is also wonderful.
Dr.Semrin prolonged my suffering and never listened to a word my parents or I had to say. 8 years later and 2 GI docs later I was finally diagnosed with something that IS real. I have severe gastroparesis. The doctor I go to now is shocked at how they didn't find this out sooner. My stomach and small intestines are barely functioning. If I would have gotten diagnosed a few years ago I wouldn't be suffering the way I am now. Watch out for this doctor.
Thorough, took time to listen, initiated a plan of action
He was very sweet to my daughter and I. Was patient to hear everything and took his time with her. I can tell her wanted to really help her and wanted her to feel better. Great doctor and nurses. No wait time.
