I love Dr. Ordoukhanian! She's can come across as shy, but she's kind and has a dry sense of humor. I've seen her since 2008 for an annual mole check and treatment for seborrheic dermattis, dandruff and eczema. She was the first dermatologist I went to who got these conditions under control. She's also managed my expectations by letting me know my conditions can't be cured, just treated, and that over time, we may need to change prescriptions/products to adapt. Weekend staff is better!
My daughters had an issue with hair loss. Dr. Ordoukhanian looked them over and sent them for blood work. Fortunately I had the common sense to request a copy of the blood work to be sent to my house. After I received them i noticed that both girls were extremely anemic and needed supplemental iron immediately, the doctor never called me. When I called her she explained that she was very busy, and i asked why she didnt ask one of the staff to call. no explanation
My husband went to her about a spot on his nose. Without doing a biopsy and only looking at tit she told him it was cancer. She said she was surprised he had cancer since he is young for this type and that he will need MOH surgery. She said that she had a patient that had the same type of cancer that lost their nose.She had my husband completely upset. He asked if is there any chance she could be wrong. She said no. He got a 2nd opinion. Biopsy - no cancer. She is a unprofessional alarmist
She made me very nervous. I think it's a little strange to pull a patients underwear down to their knees, and then letting you know she had to do it to check for moles or freckles. Really? After the fact? As for her staff, they seem to be very disorganized and unprofessional. I should have listened to my employer. He's a doctor and went to see her and was very dissatisfied. I see why now.
