4/34 windows need replaced in a new home and the company is ignoring all efforts to resolve: de facto, these windows have no warranty. Buyer beware.

They claim “Our windows have twice the product life-cycle of the average wood, aluminum-clad wood, or vinyl-clad wood windows.” Well the “average” must be pretty short because the failure rate of windows produced by MGM is all over social media. Everyone has product problems from time-to-time. If you speak with the distributors and retailers of MGM windows (Sienna, Southern Rose, etc.) and I suggest that you do, you will find that MGM Industries has had their share of problems. Horrible experience. We have a window that seal is broken. Even though our house wasn’t built 10 years ago they are saying the window was built 10 years gap (guess it sat in the warehouse) so the warranty is null!

I purchased all new windows (new construction) in 2017 from MGM. It was a hassle from day 1. They sent bowed frames, glue and goop stuck all over the glass (I still don't have it all of yet), and the cheapest screens imaginable. I refused the screens because they were awful. They charged me $30 per screen but wanted to reimburse me 19 cents per screen. I had the screens replaced with wire mesh. these windows are junk!!! and the company is even worse they build crap and tell you it has a warranty and then makes ever excuse in the world, immediately after having them installed they would condensate called the salesman, who buy the way doesn't sell these windows anymore and hasnt been any help anyway just kept stating it was the humidity in our house causing the condensation i have older windows that we didn't replace and they dont do this and they would do nothing about it i took a laser temp gun and could prove the... read more

We built a new custom home in Dec 2015 and our builder suggested MGM Industries Series 6010 windows. They are the worst windows we have ever had in the last 30 years. The poor insulation is unbelievable. Living in Oklahoma, we have single hung windows that every day have to wipe down the condensation on them. Even though we wipe it dry, mold always developes in the seems. Good luck getting any support from their contact number! I would give them a no star rating but it’s not possible! I had two MGM double hung Southern Rose windows (new construction) replaced in my dormers and figured I would judge after install if I wanted to order more. BAD design.....style 8067, the finger channel on the bottom sash is completely covered by a flange in front of it! Because of this they are very hard to open. I can't guess what they were thinking. The windows are less than a month old and seem to keep water out, but the "tilt in" mechanism is very hard to grip and move to release window for tilt feature. From here... read more

The balance of one of my window broke after 1.5 years. This is a new construction, and contractor already replaces one balance, and one panel after we moved in 6 months. I am really disappointed the quality of MGM windows, and hope MGM can help to fix the balance issue.

I have had MGM windows put in my home by American Best Choice Windows and love them! Our sunroom is gorgeous, we have had several hard rains and no leaks. We have Champion windows in our house and it was evident immediately that the MGM windows was a better quality. The customer service was and professional manner of contractors was fantastic. Devan and Tony McVay are true professionals. We've had contractors in the past who showed up hours late, left messes, etc. We did not have this problem with them. I also loved how the... read more
