Prepare to be treated like the steerage on the Titanic – It doesn't matter if you dress well. It doesn't matter if you are 'attractive,' polite and rich. This place is about putting you in your place socially!! lol I mean if you are into being treated poorly - some people dig that - go to Tabu. Pay full cover, wait in a line (while the lounge is empty), and finally get inside. Every table - even the tiny ones have a prominent 'reserved' sign ALL NIGHT. Want to sit down? No way Jose! If you pay $400 for bottle service and you... read more

~~~ Rouge ~~~ – ~~~ I was very impressed at the serenity I felt there myself. The seating is a few typical close quarters tables close to the bar and the mellow but striking redlights were the best I've deen since my best friends party garage. Along the walls there was close to the ground Middle Eastern type of lounging furniture. It was totally cool having my room down the corridor from it. Simply put it reminded me of a Oriental Opium Den on some movie set. :P
This early 30's couple wishes we stayed somewhere else. – Service: Personal service gets lost at this Vegas giant. Rooms: Spa suite was very nice. Shows: KA was psychodellic fun. Pool: Think spring break...loud obnoxious drunks. Not a place to relax and unwind. In your face action 24-7. Great for party goers.
disappointing...save your time and money and go elsewhere – We decided to go to Tabu for a birthday party and had a good size group (9 girls and 3 guys). We had reservations for a table and when we got there the guy at the door (Charlie) said he "forgot about the reservation." He pretends to scrabble to get a table and then starts to get really agitated that we had 3 guys with us. He tells us that he has to charge a cover for the guys ($20/per) if we want our table. He ended up charging the guys half price. In my opinion sti... read more
Now The Worst Hotel On The Strip – I am very fond of the MGM/Mirage hotels. I?m a common Vegas vacationer with a hunger for entertainment, great food, and of course the gaming. I have stayed at most the hotels on the strip and old town; I have to say that the MGM is the worst in almost every way. This season I spent the first 3 nights at Mandalay Bay, which was a treat as usual, but ended my last 5 at MGM. I needed in my room while my girl was away with the key. I called the front desk; she said she would send someone up. I ... read more
Nice Experience VERY BIG – We ended up at the MGM Grand after the fire at Monte Carlo and really enjoyed are stay. The hotel is VERY LARGE and a little confusing so I recommend taking the map they give you and take a nice walk around to help make sense of the layout so you don't get lost your entire stay. Being so large it has food, shopping and entertainment at all price levels instead of all expensive or not expensive. Service was good throughout the resort. It was a little cold in February so we didn't get to experience t... read more
Complete Disappointment – I can't even tell you how great (or not great) the rooms were, because they sold my room to someone else because I didn't arrive at exactly 3pm for check in. I had pre-booked a spa suite online and they charged my credit card immediately. When we got there, the lady (who was like a robot, no personailty and completely unfriendly) began the rehearsed speach of "I apolgize for the inconvience, but your room is not available" when I asked why, she said "it could be because of maintenence or blah blah b... read more
Disorganized, careful if you buy your tickets on-line – Another NYE rant. We got out tickets on-line for five; The staff at the doors had us down for only 3 tickets, what would have happened if we did not have our on-line confirmations on hand? That?s a $300 mistake!! We wanted to gamble on the floor and then come back in and they told us that if they got packed they would not allow it. Seriously? At $150 a ticket? Yes, and what was up with the dance floor? A 4X6 space to dance on is ridiculous for a night club and that empt... read more
Avoid at all cost! – What a disappointing place to spend NYE 2008!!! I am still not sure what is it that they charge us for $150, because the only good thing about this place was a great DJ Homicide. There was absolutely no place to dance as the entire central part was blocked with tables and seats for ... yes, exactly who was it for ...Tabu Management people???????? Because except for few old dancers and later on 2 (two) aging sugar daddies nobody was there! Please, please send this management to get a Business Degree at a ... read more
