Very Disappointed! – This was my first time traveling to Las Vegas, my trip was booked as a package deal with 6 other family members, who have been to Las Vegas over 8 times. This was their first stay at MGM. Upon arriving to the hotel Friday July 1st, the wait to check in was over 45 minutes, when we get to the desk we are told about a resort fee, which we knew nothing about. Great Service – The hotel was very clean and great service! The housekeeping was extremely attentive. It wasnt even that expensive. Loved the goose down comforter. I did not want to get out of my bed during my vacation =) I will be staying at MGM again!! MOST DEFINITELY
Not the best – The Casino and Hotel itself are great, everything you could possibly want is all right there. The rooms however are not great. DO NOT stay in the west wing..terrible room! So small and cheap we moved to a different room in the signature tower and it was a little better. This was our second trip to Vegas, we stayed at the Bellagio the first time and the MGM does not compare. I really liked the pool and shopping at the MGM, but would only stay at this hotel if I paid the extra to book a suite.
Not good – Hate to say it but, it stunk. First 4 songs were terrible. Totally disappointed in the song selection.
It will take almost an hour to get finished. – What is it?
Great room service – Easy to navigate, GREAT room service!
Never have to leave – Heck this hotel has it all, great resturants, people and location. I love Wolfgang Pucks! You can take a taxi and be at any part of the strip in 5 minutes. Cant wait for City Center to be completed!
Good hotel choice – Don't be concerned about staying at the MGM Grand. It's a good place from the 1 night experience we had here. We were able to get $75/night rooms with a $35 restaurant credit. We got to the hotel at 9 am and went to the check in counter to see if we could get our rooms early, even though official check in wasn't until 3 pm. They told us the rooms were being cleaned and to call the front desk in an hour and the rooms should be ready. Sure enough, we were able to get in. This is on a Thursday keep in mind. ... read more
Very disappointed in accomodations and customer service – We took our first trip to LV and figured that the MGM Grand had a great reputation, s o we went with this hotel. We will never go again. First, we waited 2 hours in line as they had overbooked and were farming people out to the Towers, which I hear is very nice, but why did I have to wait because they overbooked? The management crew were a young mand and woman, who after being yelled at a few times, decided they would take care of matters from behind the desk. We wait... read more
