Guests at our own party! – Many thanks to John and his fabulous staff. The food and service were the talk of the evening at our cocktail party. My husband and I have never before been able to be guests at our own party before enlisting Mezzaluna. And it happened so effortlessly and subtly for us that we didn't even think about it until the next morning that we didn't do a SINGLE BIT OF WORK during the event! Delicious, beautiful food, prepared fresh onsite, served with flourish. What more could you ask?
Great food -- delicious, beautiful and REAL -- not overly done in terms of presentation – I rec'd a gift certificate for Mezzaluna's personal chef service -- I was able to take advantage of this last Friday and man! It was absolutely delicious ...the food was prepared perfectly -- spices just right (not overdone) was nice to have beautiful food delivered to my home and we were able to enjoy a very nice in with great food. Try them ...you can't go wrong!
Written in the Stars for Chef John – What a treat to see Chef John woo the crowd at the Northwest Women's Show last weekend. I have worked with many amateur and professional chefs and Chef John tops the list. He prepared a Thai Flank Steak Salad, using many common ingridients that resulted in an uncommon and delicicious dish. Best catering in Portland – Chef John Paulk and his team are amazing! I was looking for a caterer to not only create beautiful food but to also help plan the event. My only thought was it should reflect a tasting of France. He created an awsome 8 course tasting menu that was to die for. Everything was plated brilliantly! You made our reunion one to remember! – Wow! What a great experience we had with our family from Kansas and all around Portland and we owe a great bit of that good time to your service! Chef John and his crew where just so impressive, they work together so well. And the food what can I say, you could cut the steak with a fork, it was just like butter. Amazing food, amazing service! One of a kind experience – Chef John Paulk was a life-saver! We were hosting a group of 25 at my boss' house and our original plans for catering fell through (rather, the original plan was scrapped as we wanted something more upscale). We needed someone to do it all - provide plateware, napkins, serving trays, and the food of course. It was an evening fit for a Queen – If you ever wanted to know what it might be like as Queen just hire Chef John and his staff into your home for the evening. From preparing you a cocktail while you are getting ready for your party, to having them open the door to the arrival of your first guest, to the sitdown, out of this world dinner. Unbelievable Night!!!!!!!! – I hired Chef John to do a small family dinner and it was such a great experience. He showed up at noon for a party starting at 6 to prepare such a great meal for all of us. The steak was to die for and the hors d'oeuvres were fabulous (especially the coconut shrimp)!
