Written in the Stars for Chef John – What a treat to see Chef John woo the crowd at the Northwest Women's Show last weekend. I have worked with many amateur and professional chefs and Chef John tops the list. Best catering in Portland – Chef John Paulk and his team are amazing! I was looking for a caterer to not only create beautiful food but to also help plan the event. My only thought was it should reflect a tasting of France. He created an awsome 8 course tasting menu that was to die for. Everything was plated brilliantly! You made our reunion one to remember! – Wow! What a great experience we had with our family from Kansas and all around Portland and we owe a great bit of that good time to your service! Chef John and his crew where just so impressive, they work together so well. And the food what can I say, you could cut the steak with a fork, it was just like butter. Amazing food, amazing service! One of a kind experience – Chef John Paulk was a life-saver! We were hosting a group of 25 at my boss' house and our original plans for catering fell through (rather, the original plan was scrapped as we wanted something more upscale). We needed someone to do it all - provide plateware, napkins, serving trays, and the food of course. It was an evening fit for a Queen – If you ever wanted to know what it might be like as Queen just hire Chef John and his staff into your home for the evening. From preparing you a cocktail while you are getting ready for your party, to having them open the door to the arrival of your first guest, to the sitdown, out of this world dinner. Unbelievable Night!!!!!!!! – I hired Chef John to do a small family dinner and it was such a great experience. He showed up at noon for a party starting at 6 to prepare such a great meal for all of us. The steak was to die for and the hors d'oeuvres were fabulous (especially the coconut shrimp)! Fabulous Meal, Exceptional Service – This is the second time we?ve hired Chef John to cook for us, and he does an exceptional job. Recently, he created a delicious four course meal for our anniversary. The meal?absolutely one of the best I?ve ever had! He and his staff are fun to work with and extremely professional. I still have visions of Bananas Foster dancing in my head from our first Mezzaluna experience. I would highly recommend Mezzaluna, you will have an unforgettable evening. Thanks John!
